I didn't like FE6 much. Make sure you get a guide or something to tell you how to get the real ending. Unless you want to play through twice anyway and go the other path when given the choice.

FE6 is rough. Not many people will like it.

I wanna play it. But I need a translated version... and I really don't like playing in emulators... Though I might have to eventually if I ever wanna play that game.

It was mainly the characters that made me not like it compared to the other two GBA ones. I remember it being harder than the other two until Roy gets that god like weapon of his. Then he simply powers through those final stages.

You will. Nintendo has shown no interest in ever releasing a translation (seems like a waste because SSBM spawned a large Roy fanbase).

Can't be worse than Namco and the Tales series in PAL.

Hmmm... I might be compelled to ask for the .rom and the translation file then...

If you feel bad about it you can buy the game and still download the rom like I did.

Re: FE6 difficulty
It came after Thracia 776, so for me it's a cakewalk but the characters, story and creativity is a huge step down. Plus Leaf is hotter than Roy. Which is saying a lot because Roy is <3.

I'm like one of the remaining few fan girls. :(

...Eh? Whoever said I felt bad about using roms because I didn't buy the game?

No, I am not one that is perturbed by piracy or not paying to play a game. (I'm actually quite a cheapskate...) My reasons for disliking roms come from the fact that I they just don't feel the same, that, and I have never really liked to play most games in a computer if I can avoid it for some reason.

I never said you were. Don't start another silly game of "chase the semantics". :P

I feel obligated to get games of a current age (which it was at the time), especially so I can see a quality series lined up on my shelf! Without FE7 of course.

Settle down sparky.~

Ah... my bad then.

I just found odd your suggestion to buy the game in order to feel better. Mainly because to be honest, I don't see how that would make me feel any better if I can't read Japanese, but that's just me.

Raise their sales figures... even if they didn't market it to me. :P

It felt hard for me not to buy it when I had played Fire Emblems 1-4 with the help of a friend in the past and was already unhappy with the fact he didn't have 5 (really hard to get for importers at the time) so I wanted to get back on track ASAP. A lot of people don't have the luxury of a translator. :[

Yes, my beautiful first four doujinshi arrived today *_* I... I opened the stupid box in the car, flicked through them quickly and then put them away in the little plastic sleeve they came in and went to sleep.

But ommmmggg, have read two of them <33

Spoiler:
They're SO NICE. They're bigger than I thought they would be, but SO NICE and so beautiful. Scans do not show just how wonderful these doujinshi are. You have to hold them and smell them - they smell like play-doh, because you totally need to know that.

Read Parade first... for the first time in Japanese ever. There were chunks where I could only really vaguely make out what was being said - aaahhh, so many difficult Kanji!! >_< But the one thing that really really stuck with me was the end bit. With Yagyuu going like.. "And I looked up and saw..." and then you open up the page to see the pretty insert, which is him looking up at the wall of white roses. and it's just like: OMMGG <333 YAAGYUUU!!! <33

So much more effective 8)

Niou's at the front <3

But wow. My hands were shaking when I was reading it, and I'm not sure which cover I want ._. Since there are two and I love them both. I suppose... well... :\ I shall keep the dust cover thing on and randomly take it off to admire the cover underneath. It's a bit hard to read the parts that I did, since I basically know

OH MY GOD SOMEONE IS SELLING UNDER COLOR. OH MY GOD.

Umm... how much do I want to put on this?? D;

Um um um um um...

2000 yen? D;

BUT SOMEONE ELSE MIGHT BID.

Okay. Have put in thingy to bid ._.

OH MY MONEY.

Anyway.

Back to my talking about the magical doujinshi:

It's a bit hard to read the parts that I did, since I basically know those parts word for word from the translation. So I kept kinda just replacing it with the words in the translation rather than reading it for myself >_> But I did take note of their manner of speaking, which is always good fun 8)

Ahh, play-doh smell.

Niji doujinshi was... a completely different story. It broke my heart to read it in English. With the "... it's nothing"'s. It hurt so bloody much to read it again in Japanese. The "... it's nothing" just doesn't... have the same feeling or something to it as the "... nandemonai". The facial expressions, Niou constantly saying "nanimonai"... his reasoning and a ksdl f D:

I plan on struggling my way through Ring tomorrow. I have my handy dandy Japanese dictionary on the internetz if I get completely stumped on something. I've read the last bit lots, since it's my favourite part >_> But I shall be good and read all of it 8)

OH! And I bought hot chocolates today after my archaeology tute for me and two friends. And there were foam hearts in them *___* I took a picture of mine 8) And felt so bad about mixing in the sugar D: My mum asked me if the guy making the hot chocolate was good looking :\ I honestly did not look. All I noticed was that he was asian >_> Now I feel mean. It was really really nice hot chocolate though.

And that there's basically my day. Minus the physics test (yerk).

Have you ever had a bike, R1nn, or is this your first?
