Memory Crushing Movies

Post by LadyM on Fri Jun 26, 2009 10:30 am

Idea from the thread about the Avatar movie. Take a childhood show or character that you hold dear and create a horrible movie about them. Spoiler the original, please.

The Water Tower
Imprisoned against their will for long decades, three siblings escape to find themselves on a movie set in California. Long years of isolation has frayed their sanity as they attempt to liven things up. [trailer cuts to a a security guard opening a present containing dynamite]
Spoiler:
Animaniacs

Billy is your average high school nerd, with the exception that he fights aliens on the side. He's madly in love with a girl in his class, Sally. Sally however has fallen for the top jock Mortimer McMire. When blue doglike aliens invade and it's revealed that Mortimer is the leader it's up to Billy to save the day and get the girl.

Spoiler:

Commander Keen

Whisked away to a world of grey where it's her sole duty to protect a race of very furry comrades and somehow bring light and color to the land. This is her duty, her raison d'etre, and it becomes a race against time when there are some smarmy villains on the horizon. She is...

Spoiler:
Rainbow Brite

EDIT:
Spoiler:
I just realized how awesome some of these would be as strip slays.

Sammy just wanted a normal high school life.....in space. But when her father, head of a galactic weapons manufacturing company, is killed by a renegade group of space aliens who steal the company's latest creation, Sammy is thrust into a quest for revenge that will send her across the galaxy. Armed with her father's latest design, a suit of armor with a built-in cannon, she must stop a nefarious plot to control the universe instigated by a group of merciless alien cutthroats who serve a corrupted alien AI called "The Brain". But that isn't all...She soon discovers what weapon the aliens stole; a man-made parasite that is all but indestructible and can control the minds of those it attaches itself to.

Now, she and her unwilling compatriots, smart-mouthed space criminal Kevin N and Moochy the space monkey, must save the galaxy from the greatest threat known to the universe.

In a remote corner of an evil Empire, a whiny young farmboy discovers a strange blue stone, only to realize soon after that it is, in fact, a dragon egg. Fleeing from the Empire's troops, he journeys across the poorly-described land with his stereotypical mentor and persnickety dragon ally, training to become the next Dragon Rider and join the rebellion. Along the way, he and his mentor are attacked by the Emperor's evil servants, though he is saved by the timely intervention of a somewhat interesting rogue, who accompanies him on his quest to join the rebellion after the old mentor dies. Together, the two young men rescue a princess and arrive at the rebel base just in time to aid them in defending against an Imperial attack.

Spoiler:
Star Wars
